Time to talk about Henshin devices and armaments!


I’ll start from the top

Wataru’s Henshin Devices:

Kivat Bat III: A being that is both a friend to Wataru, as well as his source of the Kiva powers, Kivat is always there to help Wataru when he needs him. One of Wataru’s few friends as a child and as well as to this day, Kivat has watched over Wataru and helped him through his toughest times, and now, uses his abilities to change Wataru into Kamen Rider Kiva. With Kivat, Wataru is able to transform into Kiva, as well as summon other powers in order to fight, such as the arms monsters or summoning Tatsulot by blowing a fuestle, a small whistle-like device that calls on the arms monster or abilities. Using Kivat to bite Wataru, awaking his fangire heritage, he then proclaims ‘Henshin’ as several chains wrap themselves around his waist, forming a belt, which then Wataru places Kivat onto, and his entire body then merges into his Kiva form.

Tatsulot the Dragon: Tatsulot is a small dragon device that unlocks Wataru’s Ultimate form – Emperor form. Being summoned by his own, special feustle, Tatsulot breaks the chains binding Kiva’s shoulders and leg, giving him full access to his powers as Kiva, which he then attaches himself to his left arm, completing his part in the transformation. Often arguing with kivat, Tatsulot is very talkative, and is always spouting several phrases such as ‘Tension Fortisimo!’ and “yun Pyun” when he is called on. Always ready for a fight, Tatsulot is often seeing arguing with Kivat, as their personalities differ and see each other as rivals to an extent.

Wataru’s armaments:

Wake Up Feustle: When given to Kivat to play, it can break the chains binding Kiva’s leg, and allow him to use his special attack: Darkness moon break. This attack allows Kiva to jump up high into the air, and then attack his opponent with a powerful kick, before finally shooting a blast through his leg into the Fangire, shattering it.

Dran Feustle: Summons the part Dragon, part mansion Castle Dran from its resting spot for either battle or swallow the soul of a defeated Fangire.

Baroon Feustle: Summons the Baroon golem to attach to the Machine Kivaa, Kiva’s motorcycle, allowing it to gain a greater speed.

Garuru Feustle: Summons the Garuru Saber which Kiva can weild in battle. When he summons the Saber, he becomes much more feral in nature, his left arm changing to be more like that of a Wolfin’s, and his visor becoming blue to signify the change. When in this form, he can perform a special attack when Kivat bites the blade.

Bassha Feustle: Summons the Bassha magnum which Kiva can wield in battle. When he summons the magnum, his right arm transforms into one similar to a gillman and his visor turns green. Using extremely powerful blast attacks, the Bassha magnum can use a special attack that causes a huge puddle of water to appear, which then is focused into the gun and is shot, seeking the target after Kivat bites the Magnum.

Dogga Feustle: Summons the Dogga Hammer which Kiva can wield in battle. When he summons the Hammer, both of his arms transform into those resembling a Frankin, and his visor becomes violet. The hammer is extremely heavy, causing Kiva to drag it when not swinging its heavy form around. It’s special attack freezes the enemy in one spot, then creates a huge shadow of itself and smashes the Fangire.

Other Henshin devices:

IXA Knuckle V1: The IXA Knuckle V1 is the very first version of the weapon/Henshin device. Created by Yuri’s mother along with others attempting to both create a device to battle the fangire as well as use their own feustle system, the IXA Knuckle is a powerful device in the appropriate hands. Sadly, the V1 is lacking in many departments, lacking the ability of all but one feustle, as well as its main weapon, the IXA Caliber. Finally, the system has a set time limit on how long it can be used, varying depending on it’s user it seems, and after a time giving off a violent shock to the user as well as spouting steam from vents upon the body as a chime goes off signaling it’s time is up. This much uncontrolled power places a lot of stress on the user’s body, hospitalizing Jiro, (despite his powerful Wolfin nature) and harming Otoya several times. Also, the V1 has been used by many users, even several Fangire! Whowever the user is who has the Knuckle at the given time, usually swings the IXA belt around themselves, locking it into place, before pressing two buttons on the Knuckle’s top and saying ‘Henshin’, then placing it onto the belt. The Knuckle then projects a holographic symbol, of both a star and the helmet’s design, which then merges onto the user’s body, forming the IXA armor about their form, making them Kamen Rider IXA. The V1 has only access to Save mode, it’s helmet staying in it’s closed form.

IXA V1’s Armaments:

Blast Feustle (not sure on the name): Allows the user to take the IXA Knuckle off of the IXA belt where it usually stays attached when the user of the IXA Knuckle is in their IXA form, in order to fire a large flame ball at the enemy.

Users: Primarily Otoya, but it has been used by Jiro (the first user of the system even though it was promised to Yuri, but he lost it after he was found out to be a Wolfin), Rook (in a trap set by the team to defeat him, tricking him into using the knuckle, then letting it time out and weaken him), and Yuri several times.

IXA Knuckle V10: The IXA Knuckle has been upgraded many times before the present day of 2008, and its current user, Nago uses it to its fullest extent. Lacking only the Rising ability, V10 is able to use the IXA Caliber in both it’s gun form as well as it’s sword mode along with his attack feustles and three false weapons arms feustles that trick the weapons arms to thinking he is Kiva. With V10, IXA is able to change into Burst Mode, its helmet opening and a blast of energy rushing forth, damaging lesser fangire around him.

IXA V10’s Armaments:

Strike Feustle (not sure on name): a feustle that charges the IXA Caliber’s sword form, allowing a special attack that defeats the Fangire.

Powered feustle: Summons Powered IXA, a machine IXA can use that is somewhat like a robotic dragon’s head. Powered IXA can fire bombs as well as shoot at its enemies.

False Garuru, Bassha, and Dogga feustles: False feustles that trick the arms monsters into thinking IXA is Kiva!

Users: Primarily Nago, but it has been used by others, usually when he accidently drops it or something, the most notably being the Spider Fangire. IXA with sock puppets? YES!

IXA Knuckle V 11: the newest and most powerful form of IXA, the V11 variety has increased power in every way, especially now that it can utilize a new power. After transforming into Burst Mode, the user takes the IXA Riser off of its helmet’s mouth piece and opens it up. Typing in the numeric counterparts for the letters I, X, and A, the IXA knuckle calls out ‘ R. I. S. I. N. G.’ Pieces of IXA’s now known to be limiting armor shatter off the body as the helmet changes shapes once again, becoming Rising IXA. This form of IXA can duel wield the IXA Caliber as well as the IXA Riser’s gun form in order to fight fangire.

IXA V11’s Armaments:

IXA Riser: Not only is it a Henshin device, it also has a gun form, holding it’s own special feustle as part of the handle.

Riser Feustle: Channels energy from IXA’s core into the IXA Riser to unleash a huge blast, defeating a fangire easily.


Sagark: not much is yet known yet about Sagark, besides the fact that it doesn’t speak Japanese, but instead, it speaks the lost language of the fangire. It’s only user so far is Taiga. After taiga calls for it’s help, Sagark flies to taiga and attaches to his waist, which then, after taiga places his sword into a slot on it’s side, he proclaims Henshin (which Sagark repeats) and Taiga becomes Kamen Rider Saga.

Saga’s Armaments:

Saga’s sword 9i don’t recall it’s name sadly) this blade is more of a fencing blade, thin and sharp, but it can also become a whip like blade, as it is flexible.

Wake Up Feustle: After using this feustle, Sagark speaks ‘Wake Up!’ Saga, using his sword, sends the blade out, jutting through the enemy’s chest and or back, while the symbol of Kiva, or the King appears overhead, which he then jumps through, and uses to hang his victim.

User: Only Taiga has used Sagark so far.

Kivat bat II: the father to Kivat II and the source of King’s powers as Dark Kiva. Not much else is known but that.



Phew… that’s a lot of writing, but, it’s over, now I can actually review episodes! Yes! Too bad the season/series is almost over… >.<
